Good news everyone: Wild Wing Cafe just put a sign out announcing that they are open. I have no idea how they are open, as I would think 99% of the employees have quit. I mean, why work somewhere that won't pay you so that in turn, you can pay your bills? But really, who knows what went on in that meeting they had behind locked doors yesterday, apparently in a flooded building, as the posted signs said.
Any who, I really wish I had taken pictures of the Veteran's Day parade on Tuesday. I was hanging out the window of my office half the time, watching people wave and cheer. I have to commend Mayor Barnet. He was only one of two people that thought to look up above street level to wave at me as his sweet car drove by. I've met the man a few times, and he knows what he's doing.
I don't know who the other guy that waved was, but props to him, too. I think I caught him off guard when he happened to look up and see me.
Today is a nasty day with this annoying, cold sprinkling we have going on. Lord knows we need it, though. Stay safe out there Spartanburg.

I didn't know all of that was going on with Wild Wing. Crazy! You have a good, birds-eye view of the whole downtown. Hopefully it won't turn into a Rear Window scenario. But that would make for a great blog!
Good luck on this thing; I'm looking forward to reading this!
Welcome Dani! I am looking forward to reading! I, too, was sad about the Wild Wing drama, also loved the parade AND agree that Mayor Barnet is awesome. I've added you to my blogroll as well.
